Key Responsibilities: - **Safe Transportation**:Driving the school van on assigned routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations, and ensuring the safe transport of students. - **Vehicle Maintenance**:Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting any mechanical issues, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle. - **Student Safety**:Assisting students in boarding and exiting the van, ensuring their safety during the ride, and managing student behavior on the van. - **Communication**:Maintaining clear and professional communication with students, parents, and school staff. - **Record Keeping**:Completing necessary forms and reports related to vehicle operation, student transportation, and any incidents. - **Emergency Procedures**:Following established procedures for emergency situations, including administering first aid if needed and conducting emergency evacuation drills. - **Professional Conduct**:Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor with students, parents, and school personnel, and adhering to the school's policies and procedures.
