Processing Invoices: Handling the recording and processing of invoices from suppliers and other vendors.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Managing the inflow and outflow of money related to the hotel's operations.
Bank Reconciliations: Ensuring the accuracy of bank statements by comparing them with the hotel's financial records.
Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and other accounting documents.
General Ledger Maintenance: Keeping the general ledger up-to-date with all financial transactions.
Data Entry and Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and organized financial records.
Following up on Payments: Ensuring timely payments to vendors and following up on outstanding payments from customers.
**Skills and Qualifications**:
Accounting Knowledge: A good understanding of accounting principles and practices is essential.
Proficiency in Accounting Software: Familiarity with accounting software like Tally, or other relevant systems.
Excel Skills: Ability to use spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting.
Attention to Detail: Accuracy is crucial in handling financial data and transactions.
Organizational Skills: Maintaining organized records and managing multiple tasks effectively.
Communication Skills: Effectively communicating with other departments and colleagues.
Problem-Solving Skills: Addressing discrepancies and resolving issues related to financial transactions.
