**Your new role - challenging and future-oriented**

The Test instrumentation designer is responsible to design and product definition of instrumentation parts like probes, supports and test rig components. Extracting dimensions for manufacturing from drawings and 3D models as well as documentation by using NX & Teamcenter. The designer should be able to understand the functional, assembly and manufacturing requirements and come up with innovative & appropriate ideas to meet the design requirements.

This work will be done in close cooperation with test engineers, manufacturing and the design departments. It means work within the team and with cross functional teams. Job requires creating 3D models & detailing and drawing checking. Very good knowledge of GD&T, experience with the testing of turbomachinery and manufacturing process are essential.

Job also requires regular interaction with global teams. Hence designer should have strong communication skills and cross-cultural knowledge.

**Role & Responsibilities**
- Understand the product structure, design requirements and design principles
- Design and detailing of test instrumentation equipment.
- Create new product designs and product assemblies, and solve design-related problems
- Work with project lead and team to understand the requirements, provide engineering data, timelines and deliver related design activities within agreed timeline
- Support Manufacturing

**We don’t need superheroes, just super minds**
- B.E. in Mechanical engineering or equivalent from recognized university
- More than 4 years of experience in Turbomachinery, Test instrumentation design, Product definition of test instrumentation design or design and manufacturing of small production series.
- Mechanical-design fundamentals & problem-solving skills
- Gas Turbine Component and System Design Experience or any turbomachinery design experience
- Very good interpersonal and communication skills to work with cross functional team and with different cultural background
- Flexibility to work with different time zones.
