**Job Title**: Restaurant Store Keeper

**Location**: VARKALA
**Reports To**: Restaurant Manager / Head Chef

**Job Summary**

The **Restaurant Store Keeper** is responsible for managing inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the proper storage of food, beverages, and restaurant supplies. The role involves receiving, storing, and issuing goods while ensuring quality control and adherence to safety and hygiene standards.

**Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Management & Stock Control**
- Maintain and monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
- Conduct regular stock-taking and update inventory records.
- Ensure proper storage conditions for perishable and non-perishable items.
- Implement FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired-First-Out) inventory management techniques.

**Receiving & Inspection**
- Receive and inspect incoming stock for quality, quantity, and compliance with restaurant standards.
- Check delivery invoices against orders to ensure accuracy.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged goods to management.

**Storage & Organization**
- Ensure all items are properly labeled and stored in designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the storage area.
- Monitor expiration dates and ensure timely use of products.

**Issuing & Replenishment**
- Issue ingredients, kitchen supplies, and other restaurant essentials as per requisition.
- Keep track of daily stock movements and update records accordingly.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure a smooth supply chain.

**Compliance & Safety**
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP or equivalent).
- Ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous materials (if applicable).
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation regulations in the storeroom.

**Requirements & Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a storekeeper, inventory manager, or a similar role in the restaurant/hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of food safety, inventory control, and stock management principles.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to lift heavy items and work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in inventory management is a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
