Site Supervisor

**Project Coordination**:

- Supervise and coordinate daily activities on the construction or interior design site.
- Ensure that work is carried out according to plans, specifications, and schedule.
- Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services.
- **Quality Control**:

- Monitor the quality of work being performed and ensure it meets the project specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve any issues related to workmanship, materials, or safety.
- Ensure that any deviations from the project plan are addressed promptly and communicated to the project management team.
- **Health and Safety Compliance**:

- Ensure that all on-site activities comply with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct safety briefings and ensure that workers are wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Identify potential hazards on site and implement measures to mitigate risks.
- **Scheduling and Progress Monitoring**:

- Create and maintain a detailed schedule of site activities, ensuring that deadlines are met.
- Track the progress of the project and report any delays or issues to the project manager.
- Coordinate with other site supervisors or teams to ensure smooth workflow and avoid conflicts.
- **Resource Management**:

- Manage the allocation of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient use.
- Monitor stock levels of materials and request orders as needed to avoid delays.
- Ensure that tools and equipment are well-maintained and available when needed.
- **Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution**:

- Address any issues or conflicts that arise on site, whether between workers, contractors, or with the project itself.
- Provide solutions to on-site challenges, such as unexpected technical issues or changes in design.
- Keep the project manager informed of any significant issues that could impact the project timeline or budget.
- **Communication and Reporting**:

- Maintain clear and open communication with the project management team, providing regular updates on progress and any issues encountered.
- Prepare daily or weekly reports detailing site activities, progress, and any delays.
- Ensure that all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and workers, are kept informed of any changes to the project plan.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of site activities, including work completed, materials used, and any incidents that occur.
- Ensure that all required permits and inspections are obtained and documented.
- **Budget Management**:

- Monitor the project budget and ensure that costs are controlled on-site.
- Report any potential budget overruns to the project management team and suggest ways to reduce costs without compromising quality.
- **Client and Stakeholder Interaction**:

- Represent the company on-site and ensure that the client's needs and expectations are being met.
- Conduct site tours for clients or stakeholders to showcase progress and discuss any concerns they may have.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not always required).
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar role within the construction or interior design industry.
- Strong understanding of construction or interior design processes, techniques, and materials.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
