**Job Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Procurement Management**: Source and purchase equipment, supplies, and services required by the university.
- **Vendor Management**: Identify, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers.
- **Negotiation**: Negotiate contracts and terms to ensure cost-effective purchasing without compromising quality.
- **Purchase Orders**: Prepare and process purchase orders in compliance with institutional policies.
- **Inventory Coordination**: Monitor inventory levels to ensure timely procurement and prevent shortages.
- **Compliance**: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to university policies and statutory regulations.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor agreements for auditing purposes.
- **Market Research**: Stay updated on market trends and supplier innovations to improve procurement efficiency.

**Qualifications & SkillsEducation**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (mandatory).
- Master’s degree or certifications in Procurement/Supply Chain Management (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are preferred.

**Experience**
- Proven experience as a Purchase Executive or in a similar role, preferably in the education sector.
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools.

**Skills**
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of supply chain management and procurement best practices.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,484.54 - ₹31,405.05 per month
