**Position Summary**:
The Wedding Film Editor will play a crucial role in transforming raw wedding footage into captivating and emotional films. This role requires a creative mindset, strong technical skills, and an understanding of storytelling to craft unique and memorable wedding videos. The Wedding Film Editor will work closely with our videographers, cinematographers, and clients to produce exceptional final products.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Video Editing: Edit raw footage from weddings and behind-the-scenes shots, to create cohesive and emotionally engaging wedding films or be able to produce trending reels/ videos for any social media.

2. Storytelling: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of each couple's unique story and translate it into a visually compelling narrative through video editing.

3. Post-Production: Enhance video and audio quality, color grading, audio syncing, and adding music or voice overs to create a polished and professional final product.

4. Client Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate with clients to understand their vision and incorporate their feedback into the editing process.

5. Efficiency: Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to deadlines while maintaining the highest quality standards. Should adapt companies' video editing style.

6. Technical Skills: Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing software and technology to improve editing techniques and workflow efficiency.

7. Quality Control: Ensure all final edits meet the company's quality standards and maintain consistency in style and branding.

**Qualifications**:
1. Proven experience as a film editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing wedding or event video editing work. (minimum 2 years experience)

2. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.

3. Strong understanding of video and audio post-production techniques, including color grading and audio syncing.

4. Excellent storytelling, visual aesthetics and creative skills, with a keen eye for detail.

5. Must have the best knowledge of Audio Software along with Audio Storytelling.

6. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.

7. Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure, meeting deadlines consistently.

8. A passion for storytelling and a deep appreciation for the emotional significance of weddings.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
1. Bachelor's degree in Film, Video Production, or a related field.

2. Experience with motion graphics and animation software.

3. Familiarity with 4K and high-resolution video formats.

4. Knowledge of audio recording and editing.
