**Roles and Responsibilities**

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- 1. Your responsibilities include the production of financial statements as per USGAAP and IFRS
- for the Investment Banking entities.
- 2. You manage various stakeholders - Onshore, Product Control, Regulatory reporting,
- Auditors and Tax team and handle their queries promptly.
- 3. Handling Audit Queries.
- 4. Ensure timely and correct ledger closing and delivery of Reconciliations, MI reports on a
- monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- 5. Drive continuous improvement in the processes, which involves working closely with the
- Finance change team to prioritize the automation for all manual processes.
- 6. You develop and demonstrate a strong review mechanism and instil a ‘control’ mindset in
- the team to minimize the errors and build robust processes.
- 7. You drive to focus on process documentation, timely updating of changes and regular cross
training within the team.
- 8. You ensure all SOX and other controls reflect the current process and are strictly complied
- with no audit observations.
- 9. Monthly presentation on financial summary and control framework to stakeholders and
- proactively work towards closure of action items.**Desired Skill Sets:

- Chartered Accountant with 5+ of experience Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP &
- Product Control accounting requirements.
- Accounting knowledge of derivatives, cash securities, repo or stock loan borrow
- transactions.
- An understanding of key aspects associated with the financial statements.
- Knowledge of reporting systems and respective upstream feeds including an
- understanding of potential impacts on the end-to-end reporting flows.
- Knowledge of the key processes for maintaining the accounting ledgers of the legal
