The Lab Technician will be responsible for assisting students in garment construction and pattern making for menswear, womenswear, and kidswear.
- Responsible for day-to-day functioning of the lab equipment.
- Responsible for day-to-day maintenance of the lab equipment, including minor troubleshooting.
- Responsible for maintaining inventory of equipment, consumables, and non-consumable items in the lab.
- Responsible for developing samples of garment construction (including complete garments of menswear, womenswear, kidswear), samples of types of stitches, and garment components like pockets, pleats, sleeves, collars, etc., for lab display.
- Responsible for keeping the lab orderly and ensuring cleanliness of lab equipment.

**Department**:
Fashion Design, Gyan Vihar Centre of Arts and Design

**Qualification**:
Diploma/Certificate in garment construction and pattern making

**Required Experience**:
Experience working with Industrial Sewing Machines (JUKI), including Overlock machines, Flatbed machines, and operating industrial iron.
