Summary:
Duties & Responsibilities:

- Architects the development of complex software
- Engages with various stakeholders to define, plan, synchronize and drive the development of product requirements and corresponding system architectures
- Keeps the system architecture backlog aligned with the product architectural vision
- Defines, documents, reviews and estimates system architecture concepts.
- Guides and supports the Component Architects
- Ensures that all system components adhere to a common architectural vision
- Conducts preliminary research and concept exploration
- Assumes the System Architect role in an agile organization (SAFe)

Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:

- Completed degree in (technical) computer science or comparable experience
- At least 5 years of working experience as a software developer
- Solid knowledge about Linux Platforms and general C/C++/Python software development
- Solid knowledge about wired telecommunication technologies and protocols: Ethernet, TCP/IP Stack, Routing/Switching Protocols, L4-7 Firewalls
- Solid knowledge about HTTP/JSON/REST APIs
- Knowledge of Licensing, Linux platform security, Linux kernel drivers, UI technologies, x86 Virtualization, and/or Traffic Generator solutions is a plus
- Responsible and independent decision making
- Excellent communication skills in English
