Position Overview:
As a Dance Teacher, your primary responsibility is to instruct students in various forms of dance, including but not limited to ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, and hip-hop. You'll design and implement lesson plans, provide guidance on technique and performance, and foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop progressive curriculum to ensure students' continuous improvement.
- Incorporate diverse dance styles and techniques into lesson plans.
- Instruction and Demonstration:

- Teach dance techniques, choreography, and routines to students individually and in groups.
- Demonstrate proper form, movement, and expression.
- Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to students.
- Performance Preparation:

- Prepare students for performances, recitals, and competitions.
- Choreograph routines and select appropriate music and costumes.
- Rehearse with students to ensure readiness and confidence on stage.
- Classroom Management:

- Maintain a safe and organized learning environment.
- Enforce studio rules and policies.
- Manage student behavior and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Communication and Collaboration:

- Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding progress, schedules, and upcoming events.
- Collaborate with other dance instructors and studio staff to coordinate classes and events.
- Attend staff meetings, workshops, and training sessions as required.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a dance instructor or performer.
- Proficiency in various dance styles, with expertise in at least one style.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and passion for teaching dance.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages and skill levels.
- Certification in dance instruction or relevant degree preferred.
