**Job Description: QA-QC Chemist (Cosmetics)**

**Location**: Mulund West, Mumbai, India

**Experience**: Minimum 2 years of experience in a cosmetic research lab or cosmetic manufacturing company specializing in Skin Care and Oral Care.

**Qualification**: Master's degree in Analytical Science or equivalent.

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Quality Control Testing**: Conduct routine quality control tests on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with established standards and specifications.
- **Sample Analysis**: Analyze product samples using various analytical techniques, such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and other relevant methods.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all quality control activities, including test results, deviations, and corrective actions.
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure that all products and processes comply with relevant cosmetic regulations, including FDA, EU, and local standards.
- **Root Cause Analysis**: Investigate and resolve quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- **Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)**: Develop, review, and update SOPs for quality control activities.
- **Vendor Qualification**: Evaluate and qualify suppliers of raw materials and packaging materials.
- **Training**: Provide training to production staff on quality control procedures and good manufacturing practices (GMP).

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Master's degree in Analytical Science or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a cosmetic research lab or cosmetic manufacturing company specializing in Skin Care and Oral Care.
- Strong knowledge of cosmetic regulations and quality control standards.
- Proficiency in various analytical techniques, such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectroscopy.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Compensation**:
Salary will be commensurate with experience and industry standards.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹22,000.00 per month
