**1. Qualification**: Diploma in Engineering or equivalent from a recognized
AICTE approved Indian University/ Institute/Board.

**2. Experience -** Minimum 3 yrs. on job post qualification experience
on similar jobs in medium to large size concern related CGD
pipeline construction projects and operations & maintenance in
laying underground pipeline (steel & PE) carrying hydrocarbon
fluids or equivalent.

**3. Role and Responsibilities**
TPI presence is compulsory for following categories of work:
i. GI risers: Working at height (WAH) like riser installation, erection,
testing and rectification & commissioning.
ii. Last Mile Connectivity (LMC): During testing & commissioning
inside kitchen installation.
iii. MP & LP: Laying, backfilling, fusion jointing, testing, and
commissioning.
- PNG WORK

a) Supervision and checking of following jobs:
Gas pipeline diversion/relaying works.
SR maintenance Job.
PE/Steel Valve Chamber cleaning job.
b) Low Pressure MDPE pipe works
Inspection & certification of the trench dimensions to the
prescribed standard.
Inspection & certification of laying of MDPE pipeline as per
prescribed technical specifications.
Recommendation of deviation from prescribed technical

specification due to any site constraint. (Deviation means non
- conformity to the prescribed standard.)

Inspection & certification of nitrogen/air testing of the LP. Network
to the prescribed standard.
Inspection & certification of as laid drawings, measurement of the
works & material reconciliation
c) GI Pipe Works
Inspection & certification of the GI riser erection and lateral fixing
to the prescribed standard.
Inspection & certification of the pneumatic testing of the GI riser
to the prescribed standard.
Inspection & certification of purging, gas commissioning of the GI
riser, lateral to the prescribed standard.

Inspection & certification of as laid drawings, measurement of the
works & material reconciliation.
Inspection of welding process for the ERW pipes for the welded
risers.
Ensuring the qualified welded been deployed for the welding
process.
Ensuring that the proper electrodes are used for welding process
d) Cu/Meter installation Works inside kitchen
Inspection & certification of the Copper/Meter installation job to
the prescribed standard.
Inspection & certification of the pneumatic testing of the Cu /
Meter works to the prescribed standard.
Inspection & certification of purging, gas commissioning and
conversion of the stove to the prescribed standard.
Inspection & certification of as laid drawings, measurement of the
works & material reconciliation.
- Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

a) Site HSE audits PNG, O&M, Steel and CNG (Retail Outlets) &
training at site to Supervisors, labour contractors and its labours.
b) Preparing the database of the audit findings & reporting to the HSSE
dept.
c) Follow up action of audit.
