DBA Job Description and Requirements:
Provide Development and/or Production support. This includes creating primary database storage structures, designing,

and creating primary objects, modifying database structure as necessary for enhancements or performance, creating

documentation, designing interfaces, database objects, and creating plans. Monitor and optimize performance of the

database, plan for backup and recovery of the database, and allocate system storage and plan future storage needs.

Create database-related scripts and programs to support development and production environments. Research,

evaluate, design, test, recommend, and plan implementation of new or improved RDBMS, ETL and database tools. You

will ensure optimal database performance by monitoring database performance and troubleshooting database issues.

Development and deployment of Oracle EBS patches and packages to meet client data migration needs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain Database reference architecture and design documents.
- Monitor database performance and respond to alerts to ensure high levels of security and performance.
- Identify opportunities for Database infrastructure optimization and cost reduction.
- Perform physical implementation of databases, storage structures, high-availability solutions such as multi-AZ,

replication, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Design, develop, and implement scalable third-party cloud-based database solutions and maintain MS SQL

Server databases and infrastructure, adhering to the architectural guidelines and policies.
- Migrate / implement database changes from the Technical Development Teams
- Troubleshoot database issues and troubleshoot or configure the database accordingly.
- Configure monitoring for database activity using existing tools.
- Further establish and ensure Database standards (security, reliability, availability, and scalability) and

procedures are met by our product teams.
- Root cause analysis of production-related database issues.
- Experience with cloning & supporting Oracle & PLM databases.
- Deployment of EBS packages and patches into PROD and Non-PROD databases.
- Migrating data to new platforms; Consolidation and/or conversation of database instances.
- Experience with database Backup/recovery techniques.
- Develop innovative solutions to complex business and technology problems.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure environments.
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell.
- Experience with supporting enterprise IT systems or architectures.
- Experience with maintaining mysql/MariaDB website databases.
- Understanding how to run and read tkprof.

Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or closely

related degree from an appropriately accredited institution and total 10 years of experience.
- Minimum Ten (10) years of additional DBA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Database administration: 10+ years of experience (required)
- Oracle DBA: 8+ years (required)
- MSSQL: 5+ years (required)
- MYSQL: 3-5 year (preferred)

**Job Type**: Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹486,755.69 - ₹1,687,648.78 per year

- Rotational shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
