We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Pharmacist to manage the safe dispensing of medications, provide drug-related information, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The Pharmacist will work closely with doctors, nurses, and patients to support effective treatment and patient care.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Dispense medications accurately as per doctors’ prescriptions.
- Review prescriptions to ensure legality, clarity, dosage accuracy, and absence of drug interactions.
- Counsel patients on the correct use of prescribed drugs, possible side effects, and storage instructions.
- Maintain stock levels, oversee procurement, and monitor expiry of medicines.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and hospital policies.
- Keep detailed records of controlled substances and other restricted drugs.
- Coordinate with doctors and nurses for alternative medicines when required.
- Monitor adverse drug reactions and report them as per pharmacovigilance guidelines.
- Supervise pharmacy assistants and support staff in day-to-day operations.
- Participate in audits, inspections, and continuous quality improvement.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / M.Pharm) from a recognized institution.
- Valid Pharmacy Council registration (as per local regulations).
- Prior experience in hospital/retail pharmacy (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug regulations, and inventory management.
- Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
- Detail-oriented, ethical, and patient-focused.

**Work Environment**:

- Hospital Pharmacy / Outpatient & Inpatient Department / Retail Pharmacy.
- May require rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.

**Reporting To**:

- Pharmacy Manager / Medical Superintendent / Hospital Administrator.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
