Role Overview
As a Senior PLC Programmer, you will be responsible for designing, programming, and maintaining advanced automation systems tailored to the dairy industry. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customized solutions, ensure seamless integration, and provide technical expertise on-site when required. This role demands strong technical skills, leadership qualities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in project execution.

Key Responsibilities
- PLC Development: Design, program, and configure PLC systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, etc.) to meet project specifications.
- SCADA & HMI Integration: Develop SCADA and HMI systems for real-time monitoring and process control.
- On-Site Support: Provide flexibility to work on project sites for system installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- System Optimization: Analyze and optimize automation systems for reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, system configurations, and logic programs.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve automation-related technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with engineering, project management, and client teams to deliver tailored solutions.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements (HACCP, GMP), and industry best practices.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and team members.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-6+ years of experience in PLC programming and industrial automation, preferably within the dairy or food processing sector.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram.
- Expertise in PLC platforms such as Siemens S7/TIA Portal, Allen-Bradley ControlLogix/Studio 5000, and Schneider EcoStruxure.
- Hands-on experience with SCADA/HMI platforms (e.g., Ignition, WinCC, Wonderware).
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, OPC-UA).
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with IIoT solutions and Industry 4.0 technologies.
- Experience with motion control systems, robotics, and VFD integration.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, VB, or C# for advanced system integration.
- Exposure to lean manufacturing principles and process optimization techniques.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹850,000.00 per month
