This job is for a Quantity Surveyor (Interior Design Field) who will assess project requirements, prepare cost estimates, and collaborate with the design team to identify cost-effective solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to assess project requirements, prepare quantity takeoffs, and estimate the costs of materials, labor, and equipment needed for each project.
- Conduct thorough analysis of project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to understand the scope of work and project requirements.
- Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment required for interior design projects.
- Prepare quotation to customer.
- Collaborate with the design team to identify and evaluate cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Research and source materials, equipment, and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Review and analyze supplier/subcontractor quotations, negotiate pricing, and make recommendations to the project team.
- Create and maintain accurate project budgets, monitoring costs throughout the project lifecycle, and providing regular cost reports to stakeholders.
- Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, validate quantities, and address any cost-related issues.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to quantity surveying and interior design.
**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the interior design or renovation industry.
- Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles, cost estimation, and project management.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Professional certification or membership in a recognized quantity surveying association is a plus.
**Salary**: ₹15,152.65 - ₹47,284.67 per month
