**Job description**

Key Responsibilities:

- **Strategic Procurement**:

- Analyze market trends and forecast future raw material requirements to develop proactive procurement strategies.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, delivery capabilities, and financial stability.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with key suppliers, ensuring optimal pricing and terms.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives through supplier optimization, price negotiations, and value engineering.
- **Supplier Management**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, addressing concerns and fostering collaboration.
- Conduct regular performance reviews of suppliers based on quality standards, delivery timelines, and pricing
- Develop and implement supplier development programs to improve supplier capabilities
- **Purchase Order Management**:

- Review and approve purchase requisitions from internal departments, ensuring accuracy and alignment with budget constraints.
- Generate and manage purchase orders, monitor order status, and ensure timely delivery.
- Resolve purchase order discrepancies and address any delivery issues with suppliers.
- **Inventory Control**:

- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and components to optimize stock levels and minimize stockouts.
- Collaborate with production planning to forecast demand and adjust procurement accordingly.
- **Compliance and Reporting**:

- Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.
- Generate comprehensive reports on procurement activities, including cost analysis, supplier performance, and key metrics
- Provide insights and recommendations to management regarding procurement strategies and cost optimization

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing role within a manufacturing environment
- Proven expertise in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction strategies
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
