**Job Summary**:
The Assistant Head of Department (HOD) - German Language Training supports the HOD in planning, implementing, and managing high-quality German language education programs. This role involves teaching, curriculum development, team coordination, academic planning, and quality assurance to ensure effective language acquisition for learners at various levels.
**Key Responsibilities:Academic Responsibilities**:
- Deliver engaging and effective German language instruction (A1-B2 levels).
- Assist in curriculum development and regularly update course content based on CEFR standards.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback, mentoring, and academic support.
- Coordinate placement testing and student assessments.
- Implement innovative and immersive teaching techniques, including the use of multimedia and e-learning tools.
**Administrative Responsibilities**:
- Support the HOD in academic planning, resource allocation, and faculty scheduling.
- Supervise and mentor junior faculty or trainers, including performance reviews and teaching observations.
- Assist in organizing workshops, seminars, cultural events, and language immersion programs.
- Maintain accurate academic records, reports, and documentation for audits or reviews.
**Quality Assurance & Development**:
- Ensure high teaching standards and compliance with institutional policies.
- Assist in planning and executing internal training for German faculty.
- Stay updated with current trends in German language teaching and integrate best practices.
**Qualifications & Skills:Education**
- Teaching certifications (e.g., Goethe-Institut Zertifikat, DaF/DaZ) preferred.
**Experience**:
- 4+ years of teaching experience in German as a foreign language.
- Previous experience in academic coordination or team leadership is an advantage.
**Skills**:
- Strong command of German (C1/C2 level) and English (B2+ minimum).
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using LMS platforms and digital teaching tools.
- Leadership, problem-solving, and time management abilities.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
