Summary

We are searching for a Security Officer to be based in India, Amritsar You will be part of the Security team and will be the responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the crisis and security management system. You will work closely with our strategic partners, including regulators to ensure the security of our customers, staff and assets.

**Job Description**:
Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring the implementation of security policies & the airline security programme meticulously at airport.
- Maintain effective liaison with BCAS, law enforcing agencies, airport operators and other stakeholders.
- Maintain and update service records, training records, AEP records and other important records pretending to Security.
- Responsible for efficient deployment of the security staff as per SGHA
- Accountable to any security lapse for flight operations.
- Furnish daily reports to CSO covering all security matters at station & Submit Daily Situation Report to BCAS.
- Continuous follow up to close any case/incident at station level.
- Ensuring an effective response to any threat or security incident at station.
- Maintaining a record of all unauthorized weapons or suspect explosives devices detected on the aircraft operator’s aircraft or on property used by the aircraft operator.
- Reporting all actual or suspected acts of unlawful interference with aircraft operations to the CSO, BCAS & SSSQ.
- Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance to company and BCAS security and training requirement.
- Oversee daily deployment of security vendor at station.
- Investigate all security incident, recommend and implement adequate security measures/procedures to prevent recurrence.
- Company and BCAS security requirements are implemented.
- Conduct security training for service providers.
- Follow-up on training deficiencies.
- Ensure all service providers undergo recurrent training as described by company and BCAS requirement.

**Requirements**:

- At least 1 years' experience in implementing Crisis and/or security management in aviation fields.
- Ability and willingness to travel.
- Strong Command of English and able to converse and write proficiently.
- Microsoft office and online collaborative tools.
- Knowledge and experience in crisis/security management, investigations and risk assessment in aviation fields.
- Strong Knowledge of industry standards for crisis management and understanding of incident response.
- Ability to dive deep into data, existing processes, people, and technology challenges in order to identify risks and opportunities.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the written and oral communication skills necessary to build relationships and positively influence decision-making.
- Ability to deliver quickly and frequently to produce high quality documents and outputs which require little to no rework.
- Strong critical thinking skills that enable problem solving and understanding complex, dynamic issues.
