Operating and maintaining a variety of imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines, CT scanners, bedside X-ray units, DEXA scanners, mammography units, and C-arm devices.
- Ensuring proper patient positioning and collaboration during procedures to obtain optimal imaging results.
- Adjusting imaging parameters and using contrast agents as needed to enhance image quality for different types of scans.
- Reviewing acquired images to ensure clarity, accuracy, and completeness for diagnostic interpretation.
- Identifying and correcting any imaging artifacts or inconsistencies, performing additional scans when necessary.
- Adhering strictly to quality control measures and safety protocols to minimize risks during imaging procedures.
- Communicating effectively with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure their comfort and cooperation throughout imaging examinations.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals, including radiologists, physicians, and nurses, to coordinate patient care and fulfil imaging requisites
- Accurately documenting procedures, patient data, and imaging findings.
- Adhering to regulatory standards and maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
- Performing routine maintenance on imaging equipment, conducting minor repairs, and promptly reporting technical issues.
- Collaborating with technical support teams or service engineers for troubleshooting and resolving equipment malfunctions.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- State licensure or certification as a Diagnostic Radiographer.

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in operating X-ray, bedside X-ray, CT scan, DEXA, mammography, and C-arm equipment
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially with patients.
- Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth understanding and adherence to radiation safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
