The Plastic Surgeon will be responsible for performing reconstructive and cosmetic surgical procedures to restore and enhance patient appearance and function. The role involves preoperative assessment, surgical planning, performing surgeries, postoperative care, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. The surgeon must ensure patient safety, adhere to hospital protocols, and provide compassionate care.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Care**:

- Conduct thorough preoperative evaluations and consultations.
- Discuss treatment plans, surgical procedures, risks, benefits, and alternatives with patients.
- Perform reconstructive surgeries (burns, trauma, congenital deformities) and cosmetic procedures (facial, body contouring, breast surgery, etc.).
- Provide postoperative care and follow-up to monitor recovery and outcomes.
- **Surgical Expertise**:

- Perform both elective and emergency reconstructive surgeries.
- Utilize latest surgical techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate operative records and patient documentation.
- **Collaboration & Communication**:

- Work closely with anesthesiologists, nurses, physiotherapists, and other specialists.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions.
- Educate patients and families on surgical care and recovery.
- **Administration & Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, medical ethics, and safety standards.
- Maintain updated knowledge on developments in plastic surgery.
- Participate in hospital committees and continuous medical education programs.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: MBBS with MS in General Surgery + M.Ch / DNB in Plastic Surgery.
- **Experience**: Minimum 2 years of experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
- **Skills**:

- Expertise in microsurgery, aesthetic and reconstructive procedures.
- Strong patient communication and counseling skills.
- Ability to handle emergency cases and complex surgeries.
