We are currently seeking an Assistant SAS Programmer to join our diverse and dynamic team.
As an Assistant SAS Programmer at ICON, you will play a valuable role in supporting the programming and statistical analysis of clinical trial data. You will work alongside experienced biostatisticians and programmers to ensure high-quality deliverables in compliance with global regulatory and quality standards.

What You Will Be Doing
- Assisting in the development and execution of SAS programs to generate SDTMs, analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures as per the Statistical Analysis Plan
- Annotating table and listing shells based on analysis dataset specifications
- Supporting project tracking by setting up spreadsheets and preparing input files with appropriate headers and footers
- Writing programs to produce safety listings and replicate statistical tables
- Reviewing and validating your own code and output using departmental quality checklists
- Identifying and escalating data issues or specification concerns to the project team
- Attending project team meetings and staying informed of study status and communication
- Maintaining accurate study documentation in accordance with ICON policies
- Supporting process improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and value for clients
- Complying with all required training and documentation standards

Your Profile
- Educational background in BTech, MTech, MCA, or MSc in Computer Science, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Data Analytics
- Hands-on SAS exposure through certification, internship, or structured training in an MNC
- Knowledge of R is an added advantage
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in data handling
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate well in team settings
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving project environment
- Familiarity with clinical research data and terminology is desirable
