Introduction:
As a Barclays Senior Technology BA-PM, you will bring standard practices for delivering business analysis within the TRAC Application across Pre-trade & Post trade Markets. Document current state practices and processes and understand the business requirements and pain points. Also, to deliver design proposals and options to solve the pain points experienced by change practitioners (through the various design artefacts and lenses e.g. functional, data, processes, controls, metrics, tools, governance, outputs ). Lastly, liaise with stakeholders across Barclays including Technology to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions and MI reporting to senior management.

What will you be doing?

Determining business requirements and prioritizing them for change
- Defining functional requirements, which reflect the business requirements and developing approaches to enable them to be delivered via process changes or technology solutions
- Liaising with Business Stakeholders to document business outcomes, functional specifications as product backlogs
- Defining detailed business and integration requirements using standard documentation approach aligned with an Agile / sprint-based development methodology.
- Creating detailed GUI mock-ups and other visual requirements, as required, to be presented alongside user requirements to development /feature teams and key business stakeholders.
- Working actively and closely with feature teams to ensure user requirements/business outcomes are clearly understood and developed as specified in the documentation
- Developing data models and data-driven analytics (Data Science using Statistics, SQL, BI) to derive data-led work packages and solution decisions.

What we’re looking for:
In-depth knowledge and experience in projects adopting different delivery methods (e.g. Waterfall, Agile)
- Understanding of Agile SDLC concepts; Understanding of Scrum/Kanban Agile SDLC methodology - Product Backlog/Features, Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Definition of Ready, Definition of Done etc
- Extensive experience handling stakeholders across the Senior Business (Director and Managing Director Level)
- Ability to train team members and stakeholders and pass on best practice procedures in business and data analysis

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Significant Project Management experience
- Good knowledge of Investment Banking / Financial Services products and regulatory reporting
- Ability to understand and deal with competing priorities
- Ability to be able to take initiative, analyze, summarize, and communicate effectively both in writing and orally
