**FATCA & CRS Operational / Tax Ops Associate**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Good knowledge of FATCA & CRS due diligence and reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Up to date with recent development in FATCA and CRS to ensure applicable measures are taken as and when required to drive implementation of any changes.
- Competency in building documentation such as procedures and process flow and identify gaps in the process based on FATCA/CRS regulations.
- Should have the knowledge of Filing US FATCA Returns & CRS Returns.
- Resolve all queries which will be asked by Government Authorities.
- Work closely with & take instructions from regulatory compliance team covering FATCA CRS.
- Perform impact assessments involving an analysis of business products & processes with a view to determining the potential impacts of FATCA & CRS.
- Yearly GIIN validation of investors and counterparties.
- Identify reportable investors for FATCA, CRS and CRS Compliance Form.
- FATCA and CRS forms collection, review, and validation. Follow up with investors if forms are invalid.
- Communicate with fund administrators in relation to data reporting.
- Preparing day-to-day FATCA/CRS compliant status based on existing control template.
- Well versed reviewing & preparation of investors declaration forms.
- To review, validate and process W-8 and W-9 tax forms and related documents as per Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
- Support audits with IRS.
- 1042 reporting, monthly interest, GIIN validation and various internal reports.
- Soliciting updated and latest tax forms from active trading clients having expired/expiring tax forms.
- Building documentation such as process and procedure flows.
- Validating and documenting W-8, W-9 tax forms for newly onboarded clients along with the required supporting documents such as partnership agreement, certificate of incorporation and article/memorandum of association.
- Performing GIIN validation activity. Updating expiring GIIN in records after comparing it with IRS website. Chasing relationship managers or the client requesting latest forms to update in records for entities having updation in GIIN.
- Collecting and validating updated tax forms for Change in circumstances (CIC) cases.
- Creating yearly expired tax form list to collect a current version of an expiring US W8 tax form.
- Review and Validate 1042 reporting and support various internal reports.
- Serving as point of contact for the client.
- Preparing meeting agenda along with leading client calls.
- Creating weekly deck for client.
- Handling the ad hoc request raised by the manager.

**Skills**:

- Investigative skills.
- Attention to detail & process oriented.
- Proficient in word & excel.
- Strong knowledge and practical first-hand experience with regulatory reporting rules in any jurisdiction.
