Sibros builds the Deep Connectivity Platform, the world's leading solution for full vehicle over-the-air software updates, real-time data collection, and AI-powered analytics in a single system.

The Firmware organization is responsible for the accelerated development of embedded software components and vehicle controllers and delivers the Deep Connectivity Platform at industry scale.

**About the Role**:

- Manual tester role responsible for executing test procedures against customer vehicle platforms and other test systems for Sibros Firmware releases.
- Perform requirement analysis, test case design, test execution and test result reporting.
- Monitoring and storing the relevant logs for the tests performed and maintaining traceability to the executed test cases.
- Manage the end-to-end traceability between requirements and test cases.
- Responsible for bug identification and troubleshooting based on instructions mentioned in manuals.
- Responsible for performing sanity, regression and full volume tests of the release build.
- Occasional travel directly to OEM customer facilities and service centers to perform tests, troubleshoot, and diagnose issues.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
- 2 - 10 years of experience in firmware or software testing roles.
- Possess a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Fluent in English. Good interpersonal and communication skills.

**Additional Qualifications**:

- Hands-on experience with testing in the automotive industry.
- Exposure to test automation and framework development activities
- Coding experience in Python or other programming languages.
- Experienced in the following:

- Manual testing roles for software and hardware based companies
- Microcontrollers, electrical circuits, and basic circuit design.
- Using and/or setting up hardware-based test systems.
