This summary can include details about products, regions, scope and other details unique to a GBU, department or position.The CAD PLM Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and expertise in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and PLM software systems to ensure efficient operation and integration across multiple international sites. This role involves troubleshooting, problem resolution, training, and continuous improvement of CAD PLM systems.

**Responsibilities**:Please list at least 5 duties/accountabilities **.
- Provide technical support for CAD/CAD and PLM software to engineering and design teams.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, license management, and maintenance of CAD software.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to optimize CAD workflows and processes.
- Create and maintain documentation for CAD software usage, best practices, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Participate in CAD software Testing, rollout, patch update.
- Stay updated with the latest CAD/PLM software developments and industry trends.
- Support the development and implementation of CAD standards and procedures.
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Production Engineering, Computer-Aided Design, Product Lifecycle Management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- A strong academic record.
- Strong understanding of engineering and design principles as well as Manufacturing process.
- String 2D Drawing and 3D model interpretation skill.
- Proficiency in Windows Operating system and Understanding of hardware components.
- Familiarity with file sharing, permissions, and network.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as C, C++, Python, VBScript, or CAD customization is Plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
- Effective time management and Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Internship or project experience related to CAD/PLM software support. A certificate Course in CAD /PLM Environment is added Advantage.
