QA Automation Tester

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-driven QA Tester to assess software quality through manual and automated testing.
- Setting up new testing processes for new software
- Setting up and maintain unit tests, integration tests and functional tests
- Setting up security and load tests
- Identifying bugs in new systems and understanding how to resolve it
- Collaborate with QA team to develop effective strategies and test plans
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyse results
- Evaluate product code according to specifications
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects
- Report bugs and errors to development teams
- Help troubleshoot issues
- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing

***Skills Required Mandatory**:

- A stats background would be advantageous
- Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role
- Experience in QA methodology
- Familiarity with agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
- Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. Selenium)
- Strong skills in SQL and NoSQL — should be able to write complex queries independently
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- Strong organizational skills

**Educational Background**:

- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field would be preferential
