**Summary**: The Chemistry Lab Instructor is responsible for facilitating laboratory sessions, providing hands-on instruction, and ensuring a safe and effective learning environment for students. The instructor will guide students in performing experiments, analyzing data, and understanding chemical principles in alignment with the course curriculum.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Instructional Support**:

- Prepare and deliver engaging laboratory sessions that reinforce theoretical concepts.
- Demonstrate proper techniques for laboratory equipment and safety protocols.
- Assist students in developing skills for conducting experiments and analyzing results.
- **Curriculum Development**:

- Collaborate with faculty to design and update laboratory exercises and experiments.
- Create instructional materials, including lab manuals, guides, and assessment tools.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Ensure all laboratory activities comply with safety regulations and best practices.
- Conduct safety training for students and monitor adherence to safety protocols.
- **Assessment and Feedback**:

- Evaluate student performance in laboratory work and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and lab reports.
- **Student Support**:

- Provide academic support and mentorship to students, addressing individual learning needs.
- Hold regular office hours to assist students with lab-related questions and concerns.
- **Equipment and Resource Management**:

- Oversee the maintenance and organization of laboratory equipment and supplies.
- Assist in inventory management and procurement of laboratory materials.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Stay current with developments in chemistry education and laboratory practices.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and departmental meetings.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelors degree(Bsc) in Chemistry or a related field.
- Previous teaching or instructional experience in a laboratory setting.
- Strong understanding of chemical principles and laboratory techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and students.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

**Working Conditions**:

- Work in a laboratory environment with exposure to chemicals and equipment.
- May require standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hebbal, Bengaluru - 560024, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
