Job Title: TGT Physics Teacher

Location: Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad

Salary Range: ₹35,001 - ₹40,000 per month

Experience Required: 1-2 years

Qualifications: B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics or a related field

Job Summary:
The TGT Physics Teacher will be responsible for teaching physics to middle and high school students (typically grades 6 to 10). This role includes lesson planning, practical demonstrations, student assessments, and fostering a learning environment that promotes critical thinking and curiosity about the physical sciences.

Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Delivery:
Plan and deliver comprehensive lessons in physics topics, including mechanics, electricity, magnetism, thermodynamics, and optics, according to the school’s curriculum.

Incorporate practical examples and experiments to demonstrate theoretical concepts and enhance students’ understanding.

Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and encourage active participation.

Classroom Management and Engagement:
Create a disciplined and positive learning environment to foster respect, inclusivity, and curiosity.

Manage student behavior effectively, ensuring that students remain engaged and focused.

Promote inquiry-based learning, encouraging students to ask questions, participate in discussions, and explore physics concepts.

Student Assessment and Progress Monitoring:
Develop and administer assessments, quizzes, and practical exams to evaluate students’ understanding and progress.

Provide constructive feedback, highlight areas for improvement, and support students to achieve their potential.

Track and maintain records of student performance, attendance, and behavior.

Laboratory Sessions and Practical Experiments:
Organize and supervise physics lab activities to provide hands-on learning experiences.

Ensure that lab equipment is used safely and maintained properly.

Parental Communication:
Conduct regular parent-teacher meetings to discuss students’ progress, strengths, and areas for improvement.

Keep parents informed of upcoming exams, assessments, and classroom activities.

Professional Development and Collaboration:
Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and continuous professional development to stay updated with new teaching techniques.

Collaborate with fellow science teachers to develop interdisciplinary projects and enhance the physics curriculum.

Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as science fairs, exhibitions, and school events.
