- Handling incoming phone calls, inquiries, and correspondence related to patient care.
- Billing and coding for medical services rendered, including verifying insurance coverage and processing payments.
- Ordering and maintaining medical and office supplies, ensuring adequate inventory levels.
- **Patient Education and Support**:

- Providing patients with information about their medical conditions, treatment plans, and medications.
- Offering guidance on lifestyle modifications, preventive care measures, and community resources.
- Offering emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families during medical visits and procedures.
- **Medical Office Operations**:

- Assisting with medical office reception duties, such as greeting patients, checking them in, and verifying demographic information.
- Coordinating referrals to specialists and obtaining prior authorizations for medical services.
- Ensuring cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and common areas.
- Following infection control protocols and maintaining a safe and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Collaborating with other healthcare team members, including physicians, nurses, and administrative staff, to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.
- Communicating effectively with colleagues to relay pertinent information about patient care and follow-up instructions.
