**Job Title: VMC Operator**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up VMC machines by installing and adjusting cutting tools, fixtures, and workpieces according to job requirements.
- Program VMC machines using computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software to execute machining operations accurately.
- Operate VMC machines to perform milling, drilling, tapping, and other machining processes to produce components with tight tolerances.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning, troubleshoot any issues that arise, and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and productivity.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on VMC machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts, to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify conformance to specifications.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or diploma in machining or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a VMC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and tooling concepts.
- Ability to program and operate VMC machines using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Siemens NX).
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
