Key Responsibilities
- **Curriculum & Instruction**: Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans for senior secondary classes, teaching English language, literature, grammar, and composition.
- **Assessment & Feedback**: Assess student performance through various methods like tests, assignments, and projects, and provide constructive feedback to guide their improvement.
- **Classroom Environment**: Create and maintain a positive, orderly, and productive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- **Student Support**: Offer individual guidance and support to students, helping them develop critical thinking, analytical reading, and writing skills.
- **Exam Preparation**: Prepare students for board examinations and competitive assessments, focusing on conceptual clarity and academic success.
- **Collaboration**: Work collaboratively with other teachers, administrative staff, and parents to support overall student development and address concerns.
- **Professional Development**: Stay updated on modern teaching methodologies and digital tools, and continuously work on professional development to enhance teaching methods.
- **Extracurricular Activities**: Participate in and potentially lead extracurricular activities related to English, such as literary clubs or writing competitions.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: A Master's degree (M.A.) in English Literature or a related field.
- **Certification**: A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree or an equivalent recognized teaching certification.
- **Skills**: Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- **Experience**: Prior experience teaching in a secondary or higher secondary school setting is often preferred.
- **Other**: Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and digital tools.
Pay: ₹9,517.98 - ₹47,627.15 per month
