**Job Description: Data Entry Clerk**
## Key Responsibilities

### Data Entry
- **Accurate Data Input**:

- Enter data into various systems and databases accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure all data entries are verified for accuracy and completeness.
- **Updating Records**:

- Regularly update existing records with new information.
- Perform periodic data cleansing to maintain data integrity.
- **Data Management**:

- Organize and maintain data files and records systematically.
- Retrieve and provide data as requested by other departments.

### Documentation and Reporting
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of all data entry activities.
- Prepare and update documentation related to data entry processes and procedures.
- **Reporting**:

- Generate reports from databases as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of periodic reports by providing accurate and timely data.

### Quality Control
- **Data Verification**:

- Verify entered data by reviewing, correcting, or reentering data.
- Ensure data consistency and address discrepancies promptly.
- **Error Resolution**:

- Identify and resolve data entry errors.
- Report any recurring data issues to supervisors for further investigation.

### Coordination and Communication
- **Collaboration**:

- Coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth data flow and accuracy.
- Communicate with relevant departments to clarify data requirements and resolve issues.
- **Support**:

- Provide support to other departments requiring data-related assistance.
- Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by supervisors.

## Skills and Qualifications
- **Educational Background**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in data entry or related fields is a plus.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with database management systems and data entry software.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- **Experience**:

- Previous experience in data entry or related administrative roles is preferred.
- Experience with data management software and office administration tools.

## Physical Requirements
- **Work Environment**:

- Primarily office-based with a requirement to work at a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move files and documents as needed.

Pay: Up to ₹18,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Microsoft Office: 1 year (required)
