Lab Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Technician for our AAC (Autoclaved Aerated Concrete) Block manufacturing plant. The Lab Technician will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests to monitor and ensure the quality and consistency of raw materials, in-process products, and finished AAC blocks in compliance with industry standards and internal specifications.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct routine testing of raw materials (e.g., cement, fly ash, aluminum powder, lime, gypsum, etc.) as per quality standards.
- Perform daily testing of AAC block properties such as:

- Density
- Compressive strength
- Moisture content
- Dimensional accuracy
- Drying shrinkage
- Maintain accurate records of test results and prepare reports for internal use and audits.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and ensure that they are in good working condition.
- Assist in quality control checks during the production process.
- Monitor curing process parameters and autoclave operations.
- Identify and report quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies during laboratory operations.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to improve process efficiency and product quality.

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in AAC block or construction material manufacturing industry

Basic computer skills (Excel, Word) for data logging and report generation
- Prior experience in an AAC manufacturing setup.
- Knowledge of ISO and other quality management systems.
