Design Draftsman

Design R&D Draftsman" is responsible for translating conceptual designs developed by R&D engineers into detailed technical drawings using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and feasibility for new product development while adhering to design specifications and manufacturing constraints; they work closely with the R&D team to refine designs, create prototypes, and prepare documentation for production.
- **Conceptual Design Translation: Convert** rough sketches, 3D models, and design concepts from R&D engineers into precise 2D and 3D CAD drawings, including detailed dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications.
- **Prototyping Support: Create** detailed drawings for prototype development, considering manufacturability and potential design challenges.
- **Design Refinement: Collaborate** with R&D engineers to iterate on designs, incorporating feedback and making necessary modifications to optimize product functionality and performance.
- **Technical Documentation: Generate** comprehensive technical drawings, assembly diagrams, and bills of materials to support product manufacturing and documentation.
- **Design Analysis: Utilize** simulation tools to evaluate design feasibility, stress points, and potential issues within the product.
- **Compliance Standards: Ensure** all designs adhere to relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
- **CAD Proficiency: Maintain** expertise in relevant CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor) to create accurate and detailed drawings.
- **Collaboration: Work** closely with other R&D team members, including engineers, technicians, and project managers, to communicate design intent and address any concerns.
