Education Counsellor

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Advising Students**: Provide individual or group counseling sessions to address students' academic, personal, and social needs.
- **Goal Setting**: Help students set attainable goals and develop useful skills or habits.
- **Assessment**: Administer assessments to gauge students' capabilities, personality traits, and interests.
- **Career Guidance**: Evaluate students' competencies, interests, and ambitions to identify suitable academic and professional pathways.
- **Course Selection**: Assist in preparatory activities such as academic scheduling and course selection.
- **Consultation**: Collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators to identify potential learning or behavioral issues.
- **Resource Information**: Inform students and their families about resources that may help with academic and career goals, such as tutoring, mentoring, and career exploration.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain confidential records about the students they assist, including assessment results, transcripts, and session notes.
- **Workplace Training**: Engage in workplace training to stay up-to-date on trends, requirements, and opportunities for students entering the workforce or pursuing higher education.
