**Job Overview**
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- **Field Research**:
- Conduct research in various schools and community settings.
- Collect both quantitative and qualitative data on child behavior, learning, and emotional development.
- **Data Analysis**:
- Analyze research data to identify trends and patterns.
- Use statistical and qualitative methods to interpret findings and draw actionable conclusions.
- **Intervention Module Design**:
- Develop and suggest intervention strategies and programs for children with special needs.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and parents to design effective, tailored treatment plans.
- **Assessment and Diagnosis**:
- Conduct clinical assessments to diagnose psychological and behavioral issues in children.
- Recommend and oversee appropriate treatment and therapy sessions.
- **Communication & Collaboration**:
- Effectively communicate assessment outcomes and intervention plans to children, parents, and educational staff.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a comprehensive support system for each child.
- **Professional Development**:
- Stay updated with the latest research, best practices, and legal/ethical standards in child psychology.
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and conferences to continuously enhance professional skills.
**Skills and Qualifications**
- **Educational Requirements**:
- Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Neuropsychology, Educational Psychology, or Applied Psychology.
- Additional research experience (e.g., Research Assistant or Doctoral work) is an added advantage.
- **Professional Experience**:
- Previous experience in a clinical setting, specializing in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children with special needs.
- **Key Skills**:
- Proficient in both quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
- Excellent diagnostic skills and the ability to design targeted intervention modules.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with children of various ages and from diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, particularly in deriving conclusions from assessments and recommending appropriate treatments.
- Empathy and sensitivity towards the emotional needs of children.
- Ability to motivate and encourage children, while maintaining a positive and optimistic outlook.
- Proficiency in using professional software and tools for assessment and documentation (as required).
- **Ethical and Regulatory Adherence**:
- Commitment to adhering to professional, legal, and ethical regulations as stipulated by relevant regulatory bodies.
**Additional Requirements**
- Must be able to work on-site in Vijayanagar, Bangalore.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to continuous learning and adapting to change.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹53,484.32 - ₹63,163.85 per month
