**Responsibilities**:

- **Greeting Guests**: Welcome guests as they arrive in the hotel restaurant or dining area.
- **Taking Orders**: Listen carefully to guest orders, offer menu recommendations, and note any special requests (such as dietary restrictions).
- **Serving Food and Beverages**: Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring the presentation meets hotel standards.
- **Providing Menu Information**: Explain menu items and daily specials to guests, and answer any questions they may have about the food or beverages.
- **Upselling**: Suggest additional items such as appetizers, desserts, or drinks to increase sales.
- **Managing Guest Requests**: Respond promptly to guests' needs or concerns, ensuring their satisfaction throughout their meal.
- **Handling Payments**: Present the bill to guests, process payments (cash, credit card, etc.), and provide correct change or receipts.
- **Cleaning and Setting Tables**: Reset tables for the next guests, ensuring cleanliness and an inviting atmosphere.
- **Maintaining a Clean and Organized Work Area**: Keep the dining area clean, including restocking supplies and handling any spillages or issues.
- **Coordinating with Kitchen Staff**: Communicate guest orders clearly to kitchen staff and ensure the timely delivery of food and beverages.

**Skills and Qualities**:

- **Excellent Communication**: The ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff is essential.
- **Customer Service Orientation**: A friendly, positive attitude and the ability to engage with guests and resolve issues.
- **Multitasking**: The ability to handle multiple tasks at once, such as taking orders and serving food, without getting flustered.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ensuring food orders are correct, delivered promptly, and presented well.
- **Physical Stamina**: Waiters are often on their feet for long periods and may need to carry heavy trays or supplies.
- **Basic Math Skills**: For handling payments and calculating bills accurately.
- **Teamwork**: Coordinating effectively with other waitstaff, kitchen staff, and management.
- **Upselling Abilities**: The skill to suggest menu items to increase sales and enhance the guest experience.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Typically, a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Further training or certifications may be beneficial (e.g., food handling certificates).
- **Experience**: Prior experience in food service, especially in a hotel or fine dining setting, is often preferred but not always required.
- **Language Skills**: Fluency in the language(s) spoken at the hotel is usually required. Additional language skills may be a bonus in international hotels.

**Working Hours**:

- Hotel waiters may work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as hotels often have dining services available throughout the day and night.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Schedule:
