Sweeper

GenX Hospital is seeking a dedicated and hardworking **Sweeper** to join our facility team. As a Sweeper, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will directly contribute to the hospital’s high standards of patient care and sanitation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Sweep, mop, and clean hospital floors, hallways, staircases, and restrooms regularly
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness in patient waiting areas, entrances, and staff rooms
- Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces according to hospital protocols
- Assist housekeeping staff as needed
- Follow safety and hygiene guidelines at all times
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the supervisor

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work (preferred but not required)
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Physically fit and able to stand, walk, and perform manual tasks for extended periods
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
- Punctual, reliable, and responsible
