**Job description**:

- To succeed, the Automation Tester must:

- Demonstrate complete mastery of all aspects of testing
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test cases using Cucumber and other relevant test automation tools
- Work closely with product owners, designers and developers to understand and clarify requirements

Required:

- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) or Computer Science.
- Previous 3-4 years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and its testing
- High experience in test automation and proficiency with Cucumber or similar BDD tools
- Strong knowledge of Test Staging, including planning and conducting tests at various
- Experience in working with microservice-based architectures and messaging technologies
- Clear understanding of test automation integration into the CI/CD pipelines
- Having knowledge of major AWS cloud services
- Have strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
- Aptitude for analytical concepts, oral and written communication skills, customer focus, teamwork abilities, integrity, and relationship-building skills.
- Specific experience in BPM Testing (Business Process Management), including reviewing business processes and workflows
- Previous experience with telecom industry
- Experience of working in SAFE Agile/Scrum
- Must have an experience of 3-4 years as automation tester
- Must have strong understanding of agile processes and the related QA lifecycle and automation methodology
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test cases using Cucumber and other relevant test automation tools
- Must have knowledge of various testing tools and strategies
- Excellent analytical skills, able to understand complex software requirements
- Degree or higher degree in software engineering or related technical discipline
