**Job Summary**:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
**Responsibilities**:

- Installing, configuring and maintain servers and networks;
- Overseeing system performance and troubleshooting issues;
- Creating a backup and safeguarding the data if there are any hindrances;
- Performing system upgrades following new releases;
- Maintaining internal documentation through Wiki,
- Performing account setup.
- Sustaining network integrity, server deployment, and security.
- Monitoring and maintaining network servers such as file servers,

VPN gateways and intrusion detection systems
- Ensuring high-level security and efficiency resulting in 100% output.
- Install and configure software and hardware
- Manage network servers and technology tools
- Set up accounts and workstations
- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
- Troubleshoot issues and outages
- Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
- Monitoring system performance and security, implementing measures to ensure data protection and network integrity.
- Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role
- Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
- Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
- Ability to create scripts in Python, Perl or other language
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
- Local Users, Groups Management and Access Control management on network resources.
- Installing Network Printer on Desktop.
- Troubleshooting all problems related Domain & Microsoft Outlook 2003, 2007 & 2010.

Qualification And Experience Required:

- BSc/B.A. in Information Technology, Computer Science

You could be:

- setting up and installing new computers, networks and software
- Setting up user accounts and profiles on the network
- installing and configuring operating systems, anti-virus software and other like Microsoft Office
- diagnosing and fixing network problems and hardware or software faults
- maintaining inventories of hardware and software
- Managing backups of servers, in case of data loss
- Keeping a record of issues and faults along with solutions, for future reference.
