Garment Pattern Master / Creative Pattern Designer

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Pattern Development & Design:

- Create accurate and innovative garment patterns (flat patterns, draping, and digital patterns) based on design sketches and trend forecasts.
- Develop prototypes, toiles, and samples, ensuring proper fit, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.
- Modify and grade patterns for different sizes while maintaining design integrity.
- Collaborate with designers to translate creative concepts into wearable, production-ready patterns.

Trend Research & Creative Innovation:

- Stay updated on global fashion trends, silhouettes, and construction techniques.
- Experiment with asymmetrical cuts, texture manipulation, and unconventional pattern-making techniques for unique designs.
- Contribute to seasonal collections by proposing new pattern-making approaches that enhance garment aesthetics.

Technical Expertise & Quality Control:

- Use CAD software (e.g., Orbito, Lectra Modaris, Tukatech & cad, Optitex, or CL0 3D) for digital pattern-making and grading.
- Conduct fit sessions, troubleshoot pattern issues, and make necessary adjustments.
- Ensure patterns meet industry standards, production feasibility, and cost efficiency.
- Work closely with sample makers, tailors, and production teams to ensure seamless execution.

Collaboration & Leadership:

- Guide junior pattern makers and provide technical training.
- Liaise with fabric suppliers, designers, and manufacturers to select suitable materials for pattern execution.
- Participate in design reviews and brainstorming sessions for new collections.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Education: Degree in Fashion Design, Pattern Making, Apparel Manufacturing, or related field.
- Experience:

- 5+ years in garment pattern making (menswear, womenswear, or avant-garde fashion).
- Proficiency in manual and digital pattern drafting (CAD software).
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, draping, and grading.
- Experience with 3D virtual sampling (CLO3D, Browzwear) is a plus.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
