We need a Financial Controller to support the Middle East and North African (MENA) markets. The financial controller will maintain accurate financial records, forecasting, and budgeting and provide commercial finance support to the MENA market in order to drive our growth strategy. This is a broad and interesting role covering a wide spectrum of finance from accounting to commercial finance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Control the Monthly / Quarterly / Annual period-end accounting and book closure process.
- Manage accounts receivable and payables for MENA, maintaining strong controls
- Delivery of financial reporting and analysis including the P&L and Balance sheet
- Establish and run a review process to be able to provide robust sign-off on the monthly and quarterly period-end governance and signoff requirements.
- Provide analytical reviews and commentary for the P&L and BS movements. Deep dive, investigate, and analyze the relevant reporting line to provide satisfactory answers for the ad-hoc queries from stakeholders.
- Work with the business leads on commercial analysis etc.
- Promotional pricing and new business models.
- Coordinate and liaise with various teams to get the annual audit completed.
- Financial support and advice for Regional Business Leads and partner with the US finance team
- Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management
- Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies
- Identify and address issues that affect business performance

**Requirements and skills**:

- Masters/Bachelor of Accountancy or CA equivalent
- 4+ years post qualification experience
- Proven experience in Financial Control or a broad finance role (preferably within the retailing or eCommerce industry or professional services firms)
- Knowledge of accounting standards (India, International, and US GAAP) and tax requirements
- Experience in reviewing financial data & identifying errors
- Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
- Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Experience in working with an e-commerce/Retail Industry
