**Job Description:TGT Social Studies**

**Overview**: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Teacher specialized in Social Studies to join our academic team. As a PRT Social Studies, you will be responsible for imparting knowledge of various historical and social concepts to young learners, fostering their understanding of the world and its past. Your passion for teaching, combined with a strong background in History (MA History) and Education (B.ed), will play a pivotal role in shaping the intellectual and personal growth of our students.

**Responsibilities**:
1. **Curriculum Delivery**: Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans, activities, and assessments aligned with the school's Social Studies curriculum and educational standards. Use creative teaching methods to make historical concepts come to life for young minds.

2. **Subject Expertise**: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of History to introduce students to significant events, civilizations, cultures, and historical figures, fostering a sense of curiosity and critical thinking.

3. **Classroom Management**: Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel motivated and encouraged to participate actively in discussions and activities.

4. **Individualized Instruction**: Identify the unique learning needs of each student and adapt teaching strategies to cater to their diverse abilities and learning styles.

5. **Assessment and Progress Tracking**: Regularly evaluate student performance and progress, providing constructive feedback to students and their parents/guardians. Keep detailed records of assessments and maintain accurate student reports.

6. **Parent-Teacher Communication**: Foster open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's academic progress, achievements, and areas of improvement.

7. **Collaboration**: Collaborate with fellow teachers and academic staff to share best practices, plan interdisciplinary projects, and coordinate events related to Social Studies.

8. **Extra-Curricular Activities**: Participate in school events, field trips, and extracurricular activities that promote a deeper understanding of Social Studies concepts beyond the classroom.

9. **Professional Development**: Stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies, trends, and research in Social Studies and Education through continuous professional development.

**Qualifications**:
1. Master's degree (MA) in History or a closely related field, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of historical events, societies, and cultures.

2. Bachelor's in Education (B.ed) or a relevant teaching certification, showcasing your expertise in instructional strategies, classroom management, and educational psychology.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to connect with young students, parents, and colleagues effectively.

5. Passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a love for learning among students.

6. Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude to create a conducive learning environment for all students.

7. Strong organizational skills to manage lesson plans, assessments, and student records efficiently.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
