**About the Job**

Join the **Data Management & Strategy team at LSEG** (London Stock Exchange Group), where you’ll play a critical role in shaping enterprise-wide data models that drive better insights, reduce risk, and support regulatory compliance. This position involves working with diverse data sets—traditional, alternative, and unstructured—and collaborating with data architects and domain experts to build scalable, high-quality data models across financial services platforms.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Analyze business and technical data requirements to design and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Collaborate with architects and SMEs to identify and resolve issues in existing architecture
- Create and maintain source-to-target mappings that reflect business processes and data lineage
- Participate in governance activities, ensuring all models conform to enterprise standards
- Support metadata management and integration of modeling practices into broader data architecture
- Conduct model reviews and facilitate ongoing improvements based on stakeholder feedback

**Mandatory Skills & Experience**:

- **5-10 years of hands-on data modeling experience**, preferably in **financial services** or large-scale data migration programs
- Strong understanding of **Agile methodologies** and end-to-end project lifecycle

**Technical Skills**:

- Solid knowledge of financial and investment domains, especially market/reference data
- Expertise in data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical)
- Proficiency in creating and interpreting UML class diagrams and ERDs
- Hands-on experience with modeling tools such as **Erwin, ER/Studio, Sparx Enterprise Architect**, or similar
- Proficiency in **SQL** and understanding of **relational database systems (RDBMS)**:

- Working knowledge of **JSON** and/or **XML**

**Capabilities**:

- Able to create and review logical models based on user stories and requirements
- Validate models for normalization, consistency, and correctness
- Demonstrate clear understanding of business context in source-to-target mappings

**Preferred Skills**
- Strong analytical and independent problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with cross-functional teams such as Product, Technology, Content Operations, and News
- Familiarity with Agile tools like **Jira**:

- Experience in facilitating workshops, documenting decisions, and managing stakeholder expectations
- Stakeholder engagement and management skills at multiple levels of an organization

**Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor's degree required; a **university degree in a relevant field is strongly preferred**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
