Job Description - Financial and Technical Analyst
The Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for providing the FP&A model development team with analytics on variables, models, and all infrastructure related programs.
**Responsibilities**:
- Perform analysis of Macroeconomic variables and their scenario forecasts
- Understand the usage of variables in models and link variable forecasts to model constructs to evaluate the impact of variables on balance sheet and P&L
- Support the FP&A Model Development team with Analytics on models, variable contribution, and review of model results in production systems
- Work as part of the program management team and drive surveys, polls with modelers
- Understand modeling infrastructure (SAS, Oracle, Python) and support projects with analysis (coding skills not required)
- Participate in annual budget CCAR PPNR forecasts, and quarterly production processes (Quarterly Multi Year Multi Scenario Forecasts)
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
**Qualifications**:
- 5+ years of experience working with a variety of financial platforms
- Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel
- Previous experience with models / quantitative frameworks is a plus
- Understanding of macro-economic variables and their interplay is a big plus
**Education**:
- CA/CFA/MBA with 5+ years of work experience
