**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Quality Control & Assurance**:

- Conduct microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and maintain the sterility of manufacturing environments.
- **Product Development Support**:

- Collaborate with the R&D team to evaluate the microbiological stability and safety of new formulations.
- Identify potential microbial risks in cosmetic formulations and recommend preservatives or antimicrobials to mitigate risks.
- **Compliance & Documentation**:

- Prepare and maintain detailed reports of microbiological analyses and ensure accurate documentation as per Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Conduct audits to ensure adherence to ISO, GMP, and other applicable standards.
- **Environmental Monitoring**:

- Implement and oversee environmental monitoring programs for manufacturing areas.
- Conduct periodic testing of air, water, and surfaces to prevent contamination.
- **Problem-Solving**:

- Investigate and resolve microbiological issues during production, including contamination events or deviations from specifications.
- Recommend corrective actions and improvements to production processes.
- **Training & Development**:

- Train production and quality control staff on microbiological best practices and hygiene protocols.
- Stay updated on advancements in microbiology and cosmetic manufacturing standards to ensure innovative practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a microbiology role, preferably in the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or personal care industry.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO standards, and regulatory guidelines for cosmetic manufacturing.
- Proficiency in microbiological testing methods, including plating, incubation, and identification techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
