1st Class Boiler Attendant

DME/ ITI (Boiler), First class boiler attendant must

3-year hands on experience for operation of high-pressure boilers, Gas turbine, DM plant, air compressors, cooling towers, DG set, chillers etc.

**General Description**:Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Utilities Operator is responsible for ensuring that all production equipment is operated in accordance to GTIPL’s ZERO EHS impact philosophy. The Utilities Operator supports the sites production capabilities by ensuring proper operation and support of production equipment and by initiating immediate notification of improper working production equipment. The Operator is also responsible for workplace organization activities enabled through the execution of 5S quality principles and related practices to maintain his/her area of responsibility. The Utilities Operator is an active participant in creating, cultivating, and embedding a culture of Continuous Improvement to further the GTIPL Brand promise and GTIPL Operational Excellence. An GTIPL Utilities Operator is also responsible for participating in developmental activities designed to stimulate individual and organizational growth.

Also, GTIPL Utilities Operator will take additional jobs/tasks/activities if any, as instructed from H.O.D, & Utility supervisor from time to time.

**Utilities Operator Functional Role**

Fully supports and promotes the initiatives of the Responsible Care Management System

Maintains workplace organization through the execution of 5S quality principles and related practices

Operate the plant's sand filters, DM plant, deaerator, RLNG/ liquid fired boilers, bag filter, fire water pumping system, cooling towers, air compressors, DG set and all associated equipment to provide efficient trouble-free utilities services to all site departments

Ensure efficient use of all-natural resources. Ensure and comply CPCB/ IBR guidelines.

Develop and maintain procedures/programs for preventative maintenance and operation of plant services equipment to ensure quality, trouble-free service to other site departments and to maximize equipment life and integrity

Review and record daily readings and analysis of results as directed, immediately report all deviations from accepted standards to responsible parties

Conduct water testing reviews related to steam, condensate, cooling water, DM water analysis to identify improvement opportunities and identify of root causes of issues

Maintain, coordinate and execute the program to minimize steam and condensate leaks

Responsible for executing steam quality testing and programs, conducting surveys for testing and for reporting data output to continually improve the sites ability to minimize steam and condensate losses

Ensure effective functioning of the waste heat recovery system. Able to work on ERP SAP

Co-ordination with plant operators for effective and efficient operation of utility services.

Ensures adherence to ISO-9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 policies and procedures outlined by the approved ISO Standard and Programs

Participates and cooperates in ISO program audits to improve execution and ensure compliance to GTIPL and Regulatory standards

**Salary**: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
