Title: Logistics Coordinator

Reports To: Business Manager

**Summary**: Job duties include but are not limited to coordinating import shipments from suppliers to distribution centers, review import container booking request/routings; coordinate with inventory control to confirm routing destination or required changes; confirm import routings with global freight forwarder; track, trace, expedite inbound import vendor containers and/or air freight shipments to distribution centers. Responsibilities include heavy communication with inside sales to make sure all freight forward logístical requirements are met.

Position Responsibilities:
Develop & maintain business relationship with freight and logistics companies operating on various trade lanes.

Lead weekly logistics status meetings to inform sales teams

Ship packages using various carriers (UPS, FEDEX and DHL)

Work with ocean carriers for bookings

Obtaining Ocean and Air Quotations including costs for Freight forwarding

Provide real time status on freight movements /track shipments

Gathering paperwork from suppliers

Plan and develop logistics program that increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Investigate and recommend optimal shipping options and coordinate with vendors.

Coordinate and communicate with external parties to ensure acquisition and delivery of shipments

Ensure shipping and compliance with state, federal, and international regulations

Coordinate the logistics of RMA’s (Return Material Authorization)

Track and monitor the credits and debits for RMA’s

Will be responsible for additional tasks as assigned by reporting manager.

**Requirements**:
Position Requirements:
Associate degree or equivalent Diploma required

Excellent Communication Skills

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in logistics & customer service

Ability to succeed in fast paced environment

Able to work independently, sustain focus; & be goal oriented

Enthusiastic, highly motivated individual with healthy work ethic

Must be proficient in the use of MS Office SW Tools.

Knowledge in using ERP systems, such as SAGE X3
